First large-scale material handling system sold to Ekokem, a Finnish hazardous waste processing company. First stretch film wrapping machine for the paper industry delivered.
1986
Exports to Russia start. The first loading system is delivered.
1987-1992
Product range and deliveries expanded into comprehensive systems.
1993-1995
Operations challenged by the depression. Operations directed at new products and new markets.
1996
Pesmel's production plant in Estonia starts operation
1992-1998
Agent network complemented with own offices. Operation expanded into the rest of the world.

Implementation and certification of ISO 9001:2000 quality system.
2001
First through-the-eye wrapping system delivered to the steel industry.
2003-2004
Networking expanded from a minority share of Cimcorp Oy and the majority of AWA Oy shares.
