New CEO to Pesmel
The board of directors have chosen new CEO to Pesmel Group Oy. Mr Tony Leikas starts in his new position 1st of October 2011. Mr Leikas has nearly 15 years working history in Pesmel, his latests positions have been Engineering and R&D Director and General Manager of the metal industry sales team. Mr Leikas has been the member of the management team since 2007. Pesmel Group’s current CEO Mr Timo Äijö continues leading Pesmel North America Llc. in Boston.
In recent years Mr Leikas has successfully developed Pesmel’s metal industry business by commercializing company’s systems and by opening sales to Asian markets. “The basis for our success is clearly the knowledge and innovation ability of our organisation. With these skills we have built our project management and internationally competitive products over the years. Skillful staff and strong products will continue to be one of our corner stones” says Leikas.
“The other focus in the future will be customer management. Successful customer work in all organization levels is vital to us. We will also streamline our delivery chain to serve our international projects better and to increase our cost effectiveness” promises Leikas.
