The majority of the shares of Pesmel Group Oy has been acquired on 7.5.2008 by a group of investors representing a Finnish investment company Helmet Business Mentors Oy and Suomen Teollisuussijoitus Oy. Former owners of Pesmel Group Hannu and Jari Mäki-Rahkola will continue the company development as minority shareholders in the board of directors. AWA Advanced Warehouse Automation Oy and Pesmel North America LLC. are a fully owned subsidiary of Pesmel Group Oy.
The arrangements within Pesmel Group Oy provide with possibilities to serve customers better and utilize the resources of the whole group more efficiently. "This will improve company's ability to grow to new height and develop further as a global expert in material handling business”, says Mr. Hannu Mäki-Rahkola.
With this change Pesmel Group Oy will provide its’ customers an extensive 30 years’ experience and know how in material handling, packing and warehousing globally.
