Pesmel Storage Systems
Pesmel Storage systems are an important and largest part of Pesmel Material Flow How -concept. Storage Systems perform all the product handling, sorting and storing between processes fully automatic.
The storage functions are controlled by WMS (Warehouse Management System). The main task for WMS is to control the material flows between different processes and optimize the storage and logistical functions. This increases the total capacity of the system and decreases the operating costs. The system also has full redundancy by having several cranes in the same aisle.
The intermediate storage is tightly integrated into production, receiving products and integrating different production processes, storing all raw products, intermediate products and finished products and covering the main transportations between different processes. Shipment storage is for storing, sorting and shipping the customer product. Depending on the production, this storage can also be combined with intermediate storage.
